From December onwards, the Pustertal Valley is dressed in a sparkling white mantle. Take a leisurely hike across the winter terrain along the well-maintained footpaths free of snow. Put on your snowshoes and head for the Kronplatz (Plan de Corones) ski area for a day in the outdoors. Winter hiking through the Pustertal Valley is both salubrious and enjoyable, with a stunning view of the majestic 3,000 m summits as the prize!
Snowshoe hiking routes follow the Pyramidenweg trail along trails no. 16A and 6 as far as the Hochnall mountain. Or hike from the Tesselberg to the Tesselberger Alm mountain hut. The hike from the Antholzersee Lake to the Staller Sattel is also popular with snowshoe hikers. If you prefer an easy hike, start at the car park between Oberwielenbach and Platten, and follow the trail to the Lercher Alm mountain hut.
